Giving Stand Plus
How long would you like your device to last? Devices made from low-cost, consumer-grade hardware don’t always stand the test of time. After your warranty period is up any issues will be the responsibility of the charity.
Payaz operates as a fragmented solution, requiring charities to work with different companies separately for hardware, card readers, software and support. This DIY approach increases setup complexity, support overhead, and the risk of inconsistent performance across devices.
The Payaz Gift Aid flow relies on an in-built tablet keyboard, designed for personal devices rather than a public self-service environment. The vertical layout and less accessible input experience add friction. With the Gift Aid flow taking in excess of 90 seconds, the completion rates are lower and Gift Aid is missed.
For support from Payaz charities expected to wait up to 48 hours for a response, increasing downtime and lost donations when issues arise. Payaz can only support the hardware, for software or card reader support you need to contact two additional companies.
