As with any solution, we are always looking to develop new features to make fundraisers lives easier. After noticing a growing demand for Gift Aid on the Lite II, we thought about how we could integrate the valuable feature without hindering the donor journey.
Donation Station Pro users can now Gift Aid all future donations made on their Lite II by ‘remembering their card’ on a Pro device first.
This way, both the Pro and Lite device stick to what they do best but our customers still benefit from Gift Aid!
How does it work?
Firstly, the charity must enable the ‘remember my card’ feature on their Pro device. May of our faith customers enable the feature due to their regular givers who attend weekly congregations.
- Supporter donates on a Pro device with Gift Aid.
- Supporter chooses to remember their card.
- All future donations to that charity, made with that donors card will be Gift Aided. This includes Lite II donations.
What if I don't have a Pro device?
We realise that not all Lite II customers have a Pro device as well. Which is why we are in the process of developing a QR Code function for Gift Aid on Lite II donations.
This will ensure donors have the ability to add Gift Aid without the on-screen journey becoming overwhelming. Stay tuned…

Launching the Lite II
Since launching the Donation Station Lite II back in May, we’ve been incredibly pleased with the feedback it’s received. Our main goal for this product was to provide a small-scale fundraising tool that’s simple and easy to use – our customers have let us know that we’ve succeeded!
Our new Lite II devices are working flawlessly and we have already seen an increase in donations with the 4 options available, everyone is very impressed with them.

As a result, the device does not have the same level of functionality as the Donation Station Pro. We have purposely chosen to limit on-screen features so that the device can capture and process as many donations as you need, in whatever way works for you.
