65% of Shoppers Attracted to Stores with Touchscreen Devices

New research carried out by Barclays has indicated that touchscreen devices are the technology that is most likely to make consumers want to visit a retail store, with 65% indicating that the availability of touchscreen technology in-store would encourage them to visit it.

It may not come as a surprise that the technology consumers are most familiar with is also what they desire the most, but it shows that other technologies such as virtual-reality have yet to capture their imagination.
